Visa

Kenny and i have booked a holiday trip to Japan Hokkaido, WooHoo! My sis is going to be $2393 lighter soon as i'm borrowing from her for this tour. Went to chinatown and checked out the prices of different agencies before deciding on this one, the cheapest of all. Their services should be alright i guess, after hearing some opinions from friends. The tricky thing about travel agencies is hidden charges - like tips for guide, substitution of place of visit and so on. Hopefully the things they told us are really the final price.

To travel to japan, i'll need to apply for visa... and japan embassy is so gegao. If you're a student, you'll need a letter form the school; an employee will then need a letter from the company. I just e-mailed to a department which takes care of undergraduate affairs, and i got reply very fast from this person, let's call her K. I was surprised how efficient the admin had become till something put me off. Went into the office, ppl at the entrance entertained me, took my name and called K. As i proceeded to K's office, i saw irene and a guy talking, totally disregarded my presence. After entering K's office and asking her to sign the visa application form for me, we went out to get the school stamp from irene. Instead of immediately getting the stamp, she was shocked to see me, a student, in admin area. She QUESTIONED how i entered K's office and whether i asked for permission from the staff at the entrance initially. So BITCHY, gaining pounds and age doesn't give you the right to throw your weights around k! Didn't reply her immediately as i was hopping K would answer for me, and she did! Although K just said "yay yay, she did.", it was sufficient to show who's not doing her job well. YAY!...right in you face!

Went home after that and some event was going on at the void deck.

Aww... so cute... A mini road safety park for the elderly! Reminds me of the road safety park we went during primary school. I was disappointed then because i was too short, couldn't "drive" the car, didn't know how to cycle, could only be pedestrian and the macdonald's don't sell burgers.

Lately there's a number of labs closing in the research institute i'm at now. One of them is the lab beside us, the xenopus (frog) lab. I took pic and video of them before they are gone.

These are the babies, they are energetic swimmers and have big head. Here's this video to show they swim rigorously, like having F1 racing in the petric dish.

Ly was asking if they were playing or they are really that normally hahaa. I have no idea, since i'm looking at them the first time too.

I tried a chocolate brand quite sometime ago, it completely sweeps me off my feet!

The shiny coat on the chocolate blinds my eyes hahaa! There's gold, sliver and rose colour coating, and they looked so metallic and special. Mmmhmmm... feel loved. My sis said she got it in Liang Court basement.
